The advantages of Ceramic Laser Cavity Reflector

Many studies and reports have been conducted on various pump cavities based on the different usage requirements of Nd: YAG lasers. The commonly used pump cavities currently include:; Metal pump cavity, glass pump cavity, and plastic pump cavity.
• Metal pump cavities are commonly divided into three types: elliptical cylindrical, cylindrical, and compact cylindrical;
• Glass pump cavities are generally cylindrical in shape, and there are also elliptical cylindrical shapes, but they are very difficult to process;
• Plastic pump cavities are commonly made of tetraneon ethylene material, which can be divided into elliptical cylindrical or cylindrical shapes.
The above pump cavity shapes each have their own advantages and disadvantages.
• Metal pump cavities have a long service life, but are complex to process.
• Glass pump cavities can generally only be processed into cylindrical shapes and require a coating layer. They are fragile and not suitable for field work;
• Although plastic pump cavities have a simple structure, their pump conversion efficiency is not high, and they are prone to aging and have a short lifespan.
