Optical Properties of Quartz Glass
An important difference between silica glass and ordinary glass is its good transmittance throughout the entire spectrum, especially in the ultraviolet and deep ultraviolet spectra, which is not possessed by general optical glass. There are different cutoff wavelengths in the ultraviolet band, and hydroxyl groups produce deep absorption peaks in the infrared band. The following are the transmittance curves of the main transparent quartz glass varieties.

JGS1
Spectrum of Fused Silica JGS1
Far ultraviolet grade silica glass, applicable wavelength: 185-2500nm

JGS2:
Spectrum of Fused Quartz JGS2
Ultraviolet grade silica glass, applicable wavelength: 220-2500nm

JGS3 :
Spectrum of Fused Silica JGS3
Infrared grade silica glass, applicable wavelength: 260-3500nm
