High Precision Half Round Quartz Rods for Optical Couplers
The high precision half-round quartz rod is basic
structural components of optical communication devices. It has high
precision, high hardness, and excellent environmental resistance. Its
coefficient of thermal expansion are the same as that of optical
fiber. It is used in optical devices such as optical couplers, ribbon
fiber welding protectors, high-power lasers, etc.
The
half round quartz rod is melted and drawn at high temperature. The
surface is transparent, which eliminates surface micro-cracks and local
surface hidden cracks in the optical fiber positioning holes. The half
round quartz rod has high strength and is not easy to crack and break
when dispensing glue to fix the optical fiber. The dispensing is
qualified. The rate is high.
