One Side Polished One Side Sanding Cerium-doped Quartz Glass Plate

The quartz glass plate is one side polished as transparent, and one side fine ground. It is made of cerium-doped quartz glass which is a specialized type of optical glass that incorporates cerium oxide (CeO2) into its composition. The cerium dioxide content is not less than 0.26% (weight). Its front is colorless, and its cross-section is light blue.

The doped cerium dioxide can effectively absorb ultraviolet, it has significantly improved the spectral characteristics of neodymium ion solid-state laser pump materials, resulting in a good match between the emission spectrum of the pump and the absorption spectrum of the laser working substance, thereby improving the working conditions of solid-state lasers, enhancing laser efficiency and pump life, and promoting the miniaturization and practicality of laser technology. Cerium Doped Quartz glass is an excellent pump material in solid-state lasers.
