Preparation Method of Large Size Quartz Tube
Quartz melting method: Place high-purity quartz powder or quartz block is in a quartz crucible and melt at high temperature. By controlling the melting temperature and cooling rate, the quartz melt is cooled into quartz tubes.
Quartz tube drawing method: Molten quartz material is drawn into a tube shape through a drawing mechanism, and then subjected to heat treatment and precision processing to prepare large-diameter quartz tubes.
Quartz tube cutting method: Use high-speed cutting machinery to cut quartz blocks into quartz tubes of the desired diameter and length.
Attention To The Use Of Large-Diameter Quartz Tubes
When using large size quartz tubes, there are many points to pay attention to:
1. Large size quartz tube products are valuable materials and should be handled with care when in use;
2. All kinds of large-diameter quartz tubes have a maximum operating temperature, which should not be exceeded during use, otherwise crystallization or softening deformation may occur;
3. Large size quartz tube is an acidic material. When used at high temperatures, it should be strictly avoided to come into contact with alkaline substances (such as water glass, asbestos, potassium sodium compounds, etc.), otherwise its anti crystallization performance will be greatly reduced;
4. Although quartz tube material has extremely high thermal stability, it can withstand drastic temperature changes. However, in actual use, due to differences in residual strain and product shape, there are certain differences in thermal stability, which should be taken into account during use;
5. Continuous use of large-diameter quartz tube products is allowed at high temperatures, which is beneficial for extending the lifespan of large-diameter quartz tubes and improving their temperature resistance performance. On the contrary, the intermittent use of large-diameter quartz tube products at high temperatures has a limited number of uses;
6. Large diameter quartz tubes that require high temperature use need to be wiped clean before use. It can be soaked in 10% hydrofluoric acid or washing solution, and then cleaned with high-purity water or treated with alcohol. When operating, thin gloves should be worn, and direct contact with large diameter quartz tubes by hand is not allowed.
