Optical Fiber End Caps for Laser, Amplifier And Cable
Fiber end cap refers to a small section of quartz rod or GRIN fiber fused onto the end face of an optical fiber. There are two types of optical fiber end caps. One is the end cap designed to reduce the optical energy density at the transmission interface of high-power laser optical fiber, which is fused between fused silica rod and optical fiber. Another type is the self focusing lens end cap based on the fusion of GRIN fiber and ordinary single-mode fiber for micro imaging needs. As an important optical component in the QBH (fiber laser output head), the end cap is mainly used to solve the fiber laser output problem, and also back reflection problem in the industrial processing.

Optical Detection Capability

We use Zygo New View 8300 coherent scanning interferometer or atomic microscope (AFM) for high-precision measurement of roughness, ensuring a more uniform polished substrate surface. Combined with high-power coating technology, the end cap has stronger resistance to damage.
